Creating Jewelry for Aurelia’s Myth

There’s a quiet magic in the design process. It starts with inspiration — a myth, a symbol, a moment — and becomes a sketch that feels like a whisper of the final piece. I send that sketch to my manufacturer, pay for the sample and mold fees, and then I wait. At least a month goes by…….

The first sample is always exciting. I open the box slowly, hoping the piece feels like the story I imagined. Sometimes the craftsmanship is wonderful, but the design needs a little more soul. A curve softened. A stone shifted. A detail sharpened.

So I redesign. I refine. I send it back, with the fees of course. And I wait again as another month passes.
