Achilles is the shining star of this internal burning for ancient myth in my soul. He is my hero. I adore Achilles and his myth so much that I named my 1st service dog for him. That beautiful Achilles, love of my life, the most amazing animal ever born was my heart and soul. He was a pitweiler 😊born into my own hands, a hero, a tragic warrior who died too early and left me a broken mess. In losing him, I understood Thetis in a way I never had before..

I had the honor of bringing in his successor – a gorgeous cane corso whom I named Neoptolemus after the mythic son of Achilles. The hero’s story carries on……..

This collection is my way of honoring him — and every hero who leaves a mark on the women who love them.

In the old stories, Thetis rises from the sea with salt in her hair and prophecy in her bones. She is a goddess who can command the waves, shift her shape, outwit kings — yet she cannot change the fate of the one she loves most. Achilles, brilliant and doomed, is her masterpiece and her heartbreak. She dips him in the river Styx, she shields him with armor forged by gods, she begs him to choose life over glory. But destiny is a tide even a goddess cannot turn.

Theirs is a myth of love that protects but cannot prevent, of strength that cracks, of beauty born from the fractures left behind.

And in that way, the myth has never ended.

Because today, countless women carry their own versions of Achilles — sons they cannot shield from the world, partners marked by brilliance and self-destruction, students with fire in their eyes and wounds they hide, friends fighting battles no one else sees.
